Just as human beings look up to vibrant personalities, similarly, flowers which are at peak bloom, with fluttery, fluffy petals that are vibrantly coloured, are also generally considered a better choice.
Laid Bare
When a person is so open, so outspoken and social, other than exuding confidence, they are also laying bare for everyone to see and judge every move they make or word they say. This judgement includes the one we pass on ourselves, about ourselves.
Similarly, the details in this ranunculus in peak bloom lie in the centre. The stamens and the fuzzy hairs, usually somewhat hidden and private, although minute in size, are all visible for everyone to see.
Unsustainable
No matter how confident we feel about a certain event, state of mind or a task, when it is "almost too much", it could present a very risky position for us. This is because we will then need to navigate extremely carefully to ensure that we do not fall into the abyss of regrets.
