SEASONS is May Ling Chen's first solo exhibition, in which she reflects and makes sense of her range of emotions over the past eight years by combining her handmade flowers and her expressive use of colours on canvas. This exhibition is not only a showcase of her technical skill in creating realistic flowers. It is also a reflection of how she is finally comfortable with herself enough to translate her inner world not just into written passages, but into a raw visual representation of the various seasons of her life. This exhibition was held at the Michael Chuah Gallery between 6-14 June.
